Major Tizen Store update now available

The Tizen Store received a major update in terms of both the user Interface for consumers and also back end for developers that will be discussed later. Just in case you didn’t know the Tizen Store is the online shop that houses all the current smartphone apps. The Store will begin automatically updating itself once it is launched, taking it to version 1.5.0. The new app has a much simpler layout that provides you version number, file size and ratings at a glance.

Now while you are in the store browsing a list of apps you have the option of either going into the app listing for more details or you can use the newly added download or launch icons (depending if the app is Installed). This simple change really helps when you want to quickly Install multiple apps on your tizen phone.
 

Samsung to Launch Z2 Tizen Smartphone (SM-Z200F) in 2016

The next Tizen Smartphone will be named as Samsung Z2 with a model number SM-Z200F. Specific details are not available yet but the Z2 will have improved specifications. The device will have 1GB RAM and will be a 4G / LTE smartphone. There is also the possibility of it having a AMOLED screen, but it is not confirmed yet.

Just like the motorola phones which has 2014 edition,2015 edition.Samsung z1 is alos getting an upgraded version named Samsung Z1 2016 (SM-Z150) also known as  Samsung Z1 2016

We don’t have that much details on the specs of Samsung Z1 SM-Z150, but if the reports where true, we expect that the Z1 2016 is still a budget friendly phone, but upgraded compared to the 2015 Z1 version, which has an inferior specs.

Let me tell you an example where zip extractor will become useful for you,for exampleI download subtitles for the movies in my tizen phone from subscene.com.But the files are in zip format.Now their is an app in tizen store to Zip and Unzip files in Tizen OS named "TiZip Extractor".But still we don't have a RAR,7z extractor app in tizen store.Hopefully we will have an app for that soon.

LockApps Tizen app for Tizen Phone

Do you want to protect your messages,videos or prevent unauthorized usage of any app in tizen phone?Use “LockApps” Tizen app a tool to password/pin protect any application in your Tizen phone.It includes the option to add a security question just in case you forgot to remember your  Lockapps password.

Another one is the Set lock interval, an option where you can add time lock on your apps for a specified period of time, option to search the lists of installed apps and add security lock to it. The list of apps on the dashboard will be password protect by tapping the lock and unlocked option. When you want to access your app, a password will be asked when locked apps are opened.

MX Player for Tizen phone

MX Player for Tizen phone is an android app which runs on tizen with the help of ACL.So before you download MX Player you should download ACL.Personally I won't recommend android apps running on tizen phone as it slows the phone down.Inbuilt video player for tizen supports huge kinds of formats,if you are a windows phone you would know you require many players for many formats.But still inbuilt video player also has some limitations for example it cannot play video files having dual audio.In case like this you need MX player but even MX player has limitations for example mx player doesn't support AC-3 audio codec.If you have a video having AC-3 audio codec the video will play but their will be no audio.Buts till MX player is regarded as a powerful video player.

It Supports all file types.It even works in  the background and even when the phone screen is off.

Multitasking is the feature that everyone loves the most who have smartphones.Tizen operarting system also supports multitasking.Unfortunately when you are multitasking sometimes you want to remove a certain app from loading in the background and consuming your battery.Home button is used to manage multitasking in samsung z1 and z3.Unfortunately the more you multitask the more your home button is damaged due to excessive clicking,but we still want to multitask every time.So give your home button a rest from now because Tizen store has an app called "ActiveApps" which does the same function of home button.Download ActiveApps from store,open it and you can see all the apps running in the background.Clear the apps you want to,Happy multitasking friends.

TIZEN PHONE HARD RESET

One night i was using my samsung z1,my phone suddenly restart.The phone restarted but nothing worked.No matter
what i did i couldn't disable ultra power saving mode.so i did a hard reset on my phone and everything worked perfectly then.
I wouldn't recommend performing a hard reset unless your phone gets stuck in ultra power saving mode.All the installed apps
will be deleted if you did a hard reset.Thankfully no files in SD card will be affected.


  * Switch off your cell phone.
  * Now press and hold Volume UP + Home button + Power button, and
    release them when Samsung logo appear.
  *Then you will see a menu"tizen system recovery" having 3 options

  * Browse with volume buttons and select *Phone
    initialization* (Factory reset except SD card) and press power button
  * Select YES and press power button
  * Wait until the phone restarts.
  * Hard reset done
