There are 2 video players for tizen phones-MX player and VLC media player.MX player is very famous so as VLC.The problem with MX player is that tizen doesn't have a true MX player.MX player available for tizen phone is an android app ported to tizen phone with the help of ACL.Since it is an android app it reduces the battery life of tizen phone and consumes a huge amount of ram making your tizen phone slow.I prefer tizen users to use VLC instead of MX player and let me tell you why in detail.

Major Tizen Store update now available

The Tizen Store received a major update in terms of both the user Interface for consumers and also back end for developers that will be discussed later. Just in case you didn’t know the Tizen Store is the online shop that houses all the current smartphone apps. The Store will begin automatically updating itself once it is launched, taking it to version 1.5.0. The new app has a much simpler layout that provides you version number, file size and ratings at a glance.

Now while you are in the store browsing a list of apps you have the option of either going into the app listing for more details or you can use the newly added download or launch icons (depending if the app is Installed). This simple change really helps when you want to quickly Install multiple apps on your tizen phone.
 

Samsung to Launch Z2 Tizen Smartphone (SM-Z200F) in 2016

The next Tizen Smartphone will be named as Samsung Z2 with a model number SM-Z200F. Specific details are not available yet but the Z2 will have improved specifications. The device will have 1GB RAM and will be a 4G / LTE smartphone. There is also the possibility of it having a AMOLED screen, but it is not confirmed yet.
